Using music as a platform, we continue to travel across the United States to make God Famous. I AM'S CALL formed in 2001 with lead singer Alex Slayton at the helm. Prior to the band forming Alex led worship as solo artist and helped teenagers develop skills and gifts for leading worship around the state of Texas. While disciplining students as a Youth Pastor at a mid-size baptist church, God began to move in Alex's heart to take his talents and gifts to another level. Asking other Jesus-following musicians to join, and prayerfully considering a name, it only seemed right to call it what it was: God's Call ... I AM'S CALL.
Since that time it has been a long road that brings us to current date. God has moved in many miraculous ways opening many doors, seeing thousands come to know Christ and many more celebrate his Glory, Sovereignty, and Mercy. God has also at times called us to be in the waiting room. Having I AM'S CALL search for a deeper understanding of His calling and molding us into what he wants us to be. We know that God has taken us along a journey to develop us to further His Kingdom and we are excited to see what more is to come.
