imagine if in 2012 the world really does come to an end for modern civilization? its only a return to the dark ages if we lose touch with nature and our connections to it. this is music that swells in recognition of the somber facts and dives with the reality of our times. struggling to retain deep spiritual connection with our environments and entrenching the deep ecologist paradigm into preexisting cultures, the music we made and continue to make blares loudly for a reason... The music for this project was written with a preapocalyptic goal in mind.
The band was formed in 2007 by a few intrepid wanderers of the globe. A guitarist born in Japan, hailing from the plains, and going to school in seattle met a drummer from Baltimore and shit hit the fan. Then we picked up a sweet bassist from New Zealand. What a sleeper cell. Currently the band is out of action. Recordings finished by Mike since Kris and Siege moved back to Baltimore and Kansas are what you'll find up on the site. We never intended to do a full on studio project, but never got to play out as we intended, so for anyone that wants to listen, we put some rough recordings up. After all, Zen Hardcore is kind of tough to describe: "really tranquil but filled with fury"... Riiiiight, so take a listen.
