I Am The Agent is a four-piece rock band from the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. Its members have risen from the smouldering ashes of Alaskan Sun and Emporium, two bands which simply could not co-exist.
Together it sees itself as a genre spanning powerhouse. Specifically about three genres. No more. The aim of the band is to entertain, provoke thought and further stir up the nation's irrational fear of the apocalypse with their songs about the impending doom of the planet and all of its creatures.
I Am The Agent considers itself hard to describe. With the angry vocals of a sweat drenched Michael aurally assaulting an unsuspecting audience, John’s beats giving them a groove they can casually shuffle to, Cole’s bass lines driving the remaining survivors to the emergency room and Bert’s guitar work creating a feedback and reverb soaked candy-land of the senses.
2009 will see the band playing even more local shows, touring new cities (Melbourne) and independently releasing a smorgasbord of new songs via the interconnected network of webnet connections (interwebnetcon).

daisy is amazing - took me a few listens to really appreciate it - but brand new has reshaped themselves once again - also - here's an interesting offer - i've been working with this programmer overseas on an automation program - I've been contributing last fm info and he's already got the myspace part sorted out as well as youtube, purevolume etc - so I'm offering 7 spots total (two of which are taken) for $30 a month to guarantee I send out over 500 messages for your band on last fm per week, and add a tonne of myspace people.
I'm seriously only offering this to friends and people who I know in one way or another - and it is all legit - you will get so many new listeners and friends - let me know if you're interested - i know musicians tend to have little cash, but I'm paying for the right to use the software by the month as well - because it works - otherwise I wouldn't use it - and I appreciate your music and think it needs to be heard.
