I am the Heat interviewed by Free Williamsburg! Interview here!
Short and sweet!
Press Clips:
"...garage dance rock...club heavy vibe but with plenty of rock 'n' roll dustups...like a more out of control 60's Kinks laid on top of fuzz bass." - Music Spectrum, January 2009
"...this one's got it all, hand claps to start it off, punchy organ riffs, smoking guitar, all wound up in nice, tight, driving rhythm section of bass and drums. Kicking sixties garage rock meets the sound of modern day Brooklyn for one hot summer single." - Bag of Songs, June 2008
"NY rock / pop with a new wave power pop sound that have a cool beat with a garage feel of 60’s fury added in." - Toxic Flyer Fanzine, Issue 38
"I Am The Heat is a lot of fun. These Brooklyn boys are all about dance-friendly beats - and pool parties, apparently. What more can you ask for?" - Buzzgrinder, May 2008
All I can say is that this show is going to kick ass, it's like Nikola Tesla inventing the alternating current. Accept Julius is alternating playing from playing from your band to ours. Hopefully he doesn't booze it up like the salty dog he is. Did I mention Julius likes the sauce? Oh yeah, and our drummer fucking rips.
Great set last Friday boys. Again many thanks for the loan of your drums, hopefully we returned them to you in good shape. Keep bringing the red hot tunes... -Red Beard-
Hola! gracias por el acepte. Hey guys! I found you by accident... I was looking for a song of Architecture in Helsinki and I found "rock papper scissors". Whatever!...magnificent song & awesome band! I love you accidentally... I guess
