I am currently working with Down To The Bone on new material. Writer/producer Alex Wheeler (Sueno Soul/Denzee/After6) on various songwriting and session projects. Rachel Moulden, superb new singer/songwriter. Ellis - a fantastic pop/rock outfit from Leicester (check them out at www.myspace.com/ellissongs). Russ Carrington, great vocalist. Sally Barker undoubtedly one of the country's finest singer/songwriters. We have toured Germany twice and have played many venues and festivals here in the UK. We have written a few tracks together and continue to collaborate when we get the chance! Sally has formed 'The Joni Mitchell Project', which recently did it's first gig in Leicester and created a real stir! Hopefully we will get some more dates next year... Thanks for checking out my page. I'm based in Leicester and I'm a professional musician and songwriter. Playing guitar and bass I have worked live and in the studio for artists such as Errol Brown (with producer Ben 'Jammin' Robbins), Eddie Henderson, Reuben Wilson, Sally Barker, Mr. Gone, Full Intention, Afro Elements, Alan Randall, Sugar And Silk, Jane Hamilton, Ellis, Sueno Soul, Richard Elliot, David Benoit. Much of my recording work has been with Jazz Funk outfit Down To The Bone who I have played with now for 10 years. Through DTTB I have been very privileged to have played on tracks with Roy Ayers, Reuben Wilson, Tony Remy, Julian Crampton, Neil Cowley, Shilts, Brian Auger, Flora Purim, Hil St. Soul, Neil Angilley and I have also co-written tracks on the album 'Supercharged' (Narada/Blue Note) and the new album 'Future Boogie' (Shanachie). A few years ago I was part of Afro Elements, and they have just released their excellent new album 'It Remains To Be Seen' (Freestyle/Swanky). I got featured with the great players of Afro plus Jeff Lorber, which was mega! I have also co-written on releases by Mr.Gone (Internal Bass), Sugar And Silk (Passion Jazz) and Alex and Dom (Greyhound). This year 2009 I have been working on new DTTB tracks, which will hopefully be out next year. Check out my pics to see what I've played on.
