Ian was born in the Summer of Sam...Malone making his debut on Cheers, the long-running NBC sitcom. Like Cheers, the episodes of Ian's life took place in Massachusetts. Unlike Cheers, which went off the air in 1993, Ian is still at it; so while not everybody know his name yet, he is working on it.
Other biographical details: Ian stands somewhere between 5'9" and 6'3" and weighs between 120 and 175 lbs. He compulsively obsesses over some acts of personal contrition while playing fast and loose with too many others. He is, at the best of times, difficult to live with. He has probably heard Self Portrait as many times as Freewheelin'. He owns two copies of Strunk & White's Elements of Style, yet he has none of his own. He's working on that, too.
A final note: if you've read this, you have essentially experienced one of Ian's songs - a rambling, barely coherent screed that leaves its nominal audience ultimately unsatisfied. Thanks for your time! Enjoy the music!

every word that is uttered and find a world that normally goes at a million miles an hour
slow to a relaxing canter. "
