Jeff Healey, amazing musician and friend, died on Sunday after a lifelong battle against cancer. The Ian Gillan Band, during their North American tour in 2006, had the privilege of playing "When A Blind Man Cries" with Jeff when they passed through Toronto. Who is Ian Gillan? He's an elder statesman of rock, he was the original Jesus Christ Superstar, and co-wrote Smoke on the Water (one of the most popular songs of all time) among dozens of other hits.
