I quite often play solo acoustic shows, but when the band are with me it's Jedd Kossew on guitar, Sean Ou Tim on drums, Graham Beyer on bass, Jason Reolon hammering the keys, and Julia Jakobsen on backing vox. Sometimes we're lucky enough to have Jacqui Davies playing cello as well!
The new music vid for current single 'This Angel Town':
This is the official new video for 'Over Now' - the first single off the new record. Shot in Cape Town in August 2008, with cinematography by Shanna Jones.
I shot this vid for 'So That's What It's Like' on a little digital camera during my first visit to New York in the summer of 2008... It look just like the song feels to me!

Hi there from sunny Cape Town, South Africa... I’m a singer-songwriter who's just been through the turmoil, angst, madness and delight of creating my second studio album, 'Superglue'. I recorded with Swedish producer Ola Sonmark - who I met on a mad-ride international collaboration between musicians from as far afield as Paraguay and Australia’s Gold Coast. Most of the album was recorded with Scandinavian musicians in Sweden and Norway... and a major highlight was having the Karlstad Sonfonietta (city orchestra) Dan Bornemark's wonderful arrangement on the title track.
It's been an amazing experience, I've met a wonderful bunch of really cool people, and come out with a great new record! I'm delighted to announce that 'Superglue' has just been put out on Musketeer Records in South Africa.
My first album “Freefall” was recorded in Durban, South Africa (the normal) way, under the watchful eye of the wonderful Angus Kerr and Dave Birch in 2002. It got nominated for a best-album gong in the South African Music Awards (SAMA). The SA Rock Digest voted both the first single and the album to the top of their charts, and rated Freefall one of their top-five album picks for the year. There was some radio play here and internationally, the music video for Beautiful Life won a silver medal in the South African National TV & Film associations Q-Awards. Several tracks from the album featured as the sound track to the hit-TV series Going Nowhere Slowly as well as several other video and TV productions. The music has also appeared on several compilation albums.
We're kicking off with South African tours soon, and I've just returned from a whistle-stop trip to New York and Sweden...
We haven’t got anything on for then, but maybe we can get on our manager to organize something around then, would love to share a stage with you… but must actually double check dates, as our brothers out from the UK in that period and we may be traveling somewhere. But I’ll definitely get back in touch, would you be keen to play up in the Midlands somewhere, or would you prefer DBN?
