Influences
Ian’s music today draws upon the influential sound’s of yesteryears heroes such as Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy and Jelly Roll Morton as well as their modern day counterparts such as Taj Mahal, J.J.Cale, Bob Dylan and Little Feat amongst others but all re-worked in Ian’s own inimitable style that places Ian at the forefront of the current live scene.
Ian Hunt, regarded as one of the finest male rock vocalists in the UK. His vocal and guitar style are much in demand from the large advertising corporations such as Nescafe, Rover, Bounty, Rock Circus, National Express, Suchard, American Express, Cadbury’s and numerous others. Ian currently divides his musical works between live gigs in and around London and hosting a guitar class and a Jam Night/Open Night. He has released two CD albums, the most recent in 2007.
