Respected as one of Australia's iconic musicians, Ian Moss delivers an unforgettable sound ñ not only as a telling soloist on guitar but especially with his silken voice, ringing with clarity and resonating with pure soul. While primarily recognised as an axeman of unusual tenacity and sweet melodic sensibility, Ian's distinctive vocal is the essential signature of his soulful, bluesy muse ñ as it has been since his first tentative foray into music during the early 1970s.
Significantly, as Moss prepares to introduce material from his new album to live audiences, the influence of his New York soul sessions has inspired a new burst of song writing for him. "Working with such classic songs has brought a lot of ideas for original material as well. For the next album, featuring my own songs, I'd expect it to follow the same style. There's something really great going on here."

CD Single - Shake/Let's Stay Together
While the finishing touches are still being added to Ianís upcoming album, Soul on West 53rd, the wait is over to get a sample of whatís in store.
The first single from the album is a double A side featuring a rocking version of Shake (originally by Otis Redding) and Ianís take on Letís Stay Together (originally by Al Green) a track some might remember from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack.
While the feature of the new album is Ianís voice, he couldnít let his guitar work take a back seat ìThereís still a few nice moments on the guitar from me,î he adds, pointing to his raucous workout on a vintage Gretsch to close out Shake.
Shake/Letís Stay Together is at radio and available on iTunes now.
