Juno Award winning producer/songwriter/artist Ian J. Nieman has been making music his life for as long as he can remember. His first song was released in 1996 called "All I Want" by Julia. Since then Ian has worked with Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, Faith Hill, Deborah Cox, Heather Headley, LeAnn Rimes, Kristine W, Lamya, Thunderpuss, Faith Trent, Rockik, Nathalie Page etc ...
As one half of the widely successful production duo Widelife, Ian was nominated for 2 Winter Music Conference Awards in Miami and has had 5 no. 1 mixes on the Billboard Club Chart. He also holds the honor of having the most played record on New York's KTU for the year 2003. I Don't Want U, which he wrote and produced with Widelife partner Rachid Wehbi, would be the catalyst that landed him the role of composing the music and theme song for the hugely popular television show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (as seen in over 30 countries).
In 2006 Liquid Sunshine - He'd Never which was signed to Nervous Records in New York. Ian also remixed Kim Sozzi's latest single called Break Up and was hired to compose music for Roxio Software's Easy CD Creator software line.
