Ian Oldham is best described as eccentric and taller than the average brown bear. Of course, there are few bears in his neck of the woods (in fact - there aren't even that many woods in his neck of the moors,) but then again most people don't often do a particlarly good job of describing him.
Ian Oldham's music is best descibed as trippy, ambient instumentals that sound nothing like their sources. His music has appeared on TV cabinets and near radio recievers across the UK and North America. He is extremely interested in abusing the musical power of the internet for the forces of evil. Much of his collaborative work is centred around site specific composition- in fact, he once helped write music for a ventilation tunnel in a brick factory, and another time composed something for a bus trip in Vancouver, Canada.
Ian Oldham is without question, simply the best thing that has ever happened to him in his lifetime, and looks forward to much more of it in the future. Of course, that'll only last as long as he lives.
