I play music - Lots of music - Feel Good Music to the tune of 300-463 gigs each year. I have a new CD of original tunes with my band, "My Friend Ian's Band" that we released @ East Andrews Upstairs on February 22nd. It came out at least as good as I hear it in my head.
For the acoustic shows, I pass out request lists of about 200 of the songs I know, both covers and originals. All night long I play whatever people want to hear - although "Free Bird" is a $20 minimum tip. I use a Boomerang Phrase Sampler to record live loops of my guitar, and I have a vast array of stomp boxes that do everything nobody should do to a Taylor. Good times.

Lately, I've been gigging 6-9 shows each week. I've been back in Atlanta for a little over a year now, and the gigs are steady, the vibe is strong and the crowds are getting better each week. Most shows, I pass out request lists of about 200 of the songs I know, both covers and originals. All night long I play whatever people want to hear - although "Free Bird" is a $20 minimum tip. I use a Boomerang Phrase Sampler to record live loops of my guitar, and I have a vast array of stomp boxes that do everything nobody should do to a Taylor. Good times.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
