The Ian Thornton Band (ITB) are a Belgrade-based trio producing original, "power acoustic" pop/rock songs. Strong, melodic vocals; simple, creative guitar/bass work; driving, dynamic rhythms; words you won't forget: The Police, meets Elvis Costello, meets Pink Floyd, Kate Bush and Coldplay.
IT moved to Belgrade in 2006 having lived and worked in the UK, Japan, Australia, USA and Germany. GS performed in a number of Belgrade-based bands, including Ab Re and Arhai, and recently completed tours of Europe and the US with the group KAL. GK has worked with many local bands in Serbia and spent five years living and playing in Italy.
Can you talk a bit about those "summer sailing adventures" you mentioned? I'm intrigued (and need some summer stories to help get me through the beginning of autumn!)...
I've also been curious about the cover art for the new album. Is there a science to it? It reminds me of a diagram of a molecule.

Evo primera kako jedan festival treba da se ophodi preme bendovima: Proshle godine smo bili u Banja Luci na NEKTAR DEMO FESTU i pogledajte uslove koje smo imali tamo: 1) Bio nam je placen put. 2) Imali smo 7 dana smeshtaj u hotelu 3 zvezdice sa doruckom, ruckom i vecerom. 3) Imali smo svog coveka od strane festivala koji je brino o nama. 4) Na dan nastupa imali smo besplatno pice. 5) Svirali smo na nikad boljoj bini i na nikad boljoj opremi. 6) Soba do sobe sa nama su bili Rambo Amadeus,Darko Rundek,Koja, Kud idijoti.... Kakav tretman su imali oni imali smo i mi.
