Ian -

Even the gods don’t know
the mathematics adequate
to feeling: poetry
that refuses to choose
between mutual exclusives,
that longs for the impossible
correspondence: the gods
transpose the vocabularies
of intellect and emotion
but it gets them nowhere,
although absence is an ideal
presence: we never asked
the gods for a judgement.

- Thank you for the music,
David

Thanks for the add. Love your music. I saw Einaudi at The Barbican recently I think you would have loved it - perhaps you were there!

I am sincerely grateful for you allowing me into your circle. Your music is so beautifully lyrical with such a range of emotions, you set a very high standard for other composers to aspire to. Thank you for sharing.

I am a HUGE fan of your music... especially the piano preludes and the settings of John Burns.

Hi Ian, thanks for the add. I added you because of some of your music I found on Sibeliusmusic.com, mainly your Requiescat. Absolutely beautiful. Reminded me alot of the works of Eric Whitacre. It was only after I found you on myspace that I discovered your new age compositions. Very nice! You have a wonderful talent.

I've just started getting into choral writing. One of my choirs is premiering my first choral work, composed for a composition class. I hope to premiere a second work sometime next year. Thanks again for the add! Take care.

Aww! Thank you for adding me as one of your friends. I have listened to your music and you are very talented. I love piano but I cannot read notes. I am an ear pianist. I can listen to any kind of music and pick it up very very quickly. Despite what others think I can actually play piano with both hands. Everyone always thinks that I play with one hand. I have made up some songs but they are of no use if they aren't translated onto sheet music. YOU ARE A VERY AMAZING PIANO PLAYER!!
