Born & raised in Houston, Texas' historical Third Ward, 23 y.o. Rapper/Producer, IB, began her career in the music industry at a very early age and on a different path. As a close friend of the Knowles family, IB literally grew up in the shadows of the girl group, Destiny's Child. Beginning to wholeheartedly pursue a career as a hip hop artist, IB recorded songs in the studio and learned the mechanics of a good stage show. She hustled hard, making music with other budding artists and building a huge fan base. IB earned opportunities to work with the legendary POS (from De La Soul) and producer Cameron Wallace (Beyonce's "Upgrade U"). More recently, she has opened for the likes of Drake, J.Cole, & Wale. Over the past half decade, IB has honed her talent, and with the help of her new management team, H2H Management, is primed to take on the world. With a superb lyrical forte, witty one-liners, and an edgy, yet feminine delivery, IB is a force in hip hop to be reckoned with! -
