Mbali Remixes
Jerome Sydenham starts off the year with a fabulous remix of the underground classic “Mbali” by Motorcitysoul. Sydenham makes an ambitious attempt to redefine the phrase “Happy and uplifting House”. This, however, is not a gospel track. But instead is filled with lush cords and steady grooves. This is the kind of tune that really gets the party started.
Jero Extended Versions
The monster duo of Dennis Ferrer and Jerome Sydenham strike again at the core of house music. In this adrenaline fuel house epic you have Sydenham on the beats and Ferrer on the vocal chants. This one will be hard to resist even for Techno heads.
Une Recontre Pas Banale
Anthony Collins presents a new beautiful deep piano track with some funky rhythms grooving alongside. Jerome Sydenham embellishes this track with a deep club mix.
Another raw Tech-House experience from Jerome Sydenham’s Jango Series,
(Ibadan)
"Jango 02"
In the second instalment of the Jango series Sydenham is on a quest to supply certain missing elements of House while forging new musical paths into the future. “Jango 2” exemplifies this truth. On this occasion we are taken on a journey that includes fierce beats, funky bass lines and Detroit-esque strings.
"Brooklyn Rock"
Simple percussive grooves, rolling bass, and a killer hypnotic vocal hook make
this dub version a true Brooklyn Deep House gem!
"Footsteps of Phire (Jerome Sydenham's Jango Dub)"
Simple percussive grooves, rolling bass, and a killer hypnotic vocal hook make
this dub version a true Brooklyn Deep House gem!
A raw soulful Tech-House experience from Jerome Sydenham (Ibadan)!
"Jango 01"
Jerome Sydenham delves deep into the soul of the Chicago vibe to unleash "Jango
01". On the original mix you experience raw soulful Tech-House. The funky stabs
and vocal embellishments will throw you into a straight jacking vibe. On the dub
it's pure track business!
"Asama Rising"
is a complete fresh take on Tech House. Titelating rhythms combined with
pulsating basslines enhanced with sophisticated twists and turns gives "Asama
Rising" pure modern Tech-Hosue splendour. On the dub version Sydenham simply
strips the groove down to give it a more minimal edge.
"Joris Voorn Remix"
Joris Voorn stands unquestionably amongst the very finest of today's electronic
music production elite. The ever growing list of undisputed hits to come from
the Dutchman's Rotterdam studio confirms is status as one of only a
handful of current recording artists capable of
creating with each subsequent release a flawless, precise sound that never lacks
the essential human touch and organic flow necessary to deliver the biggest
results in modern electronic dance music.
With his remix of 'Destination Nagano' Voorn uses the original's distinctive,
driving stab to build an epic, spiralling journey of a track which swings back
and forth between wild, wailing sirens and graceful chord phrases before
opening out into a beautiful, soaring break and drop moment destined to create
huge impact across the globe this spring.
