About me:
Ibex Earth is a non-profit organisation that has been set up to encourage individuals, students and businesses to adopt a proactive approach on environmental issues.
We work directly with an array of environmental charities and non-profit organisations (our 'Environmental and Conservation Partners'). These fantastic organisations cover both domestic and international environmental issues, which sees Ibex Earth projects ranging from promoting the environment to school children in the UK through to protecting endangered species and habitat across the globe.
We feel that this approach guarantees that all of our projects and schemes are able to achieve the maximum environmental benefit possible - after all, what better way to help the environment than to work with those who have years and years of experience within this field.
Our Environmental and Conservation Partners are:
The Africa Conservation Fund (UK); The Conservation Foundation; The Gaia Foundation; The Koru Foundation; The Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme; The Ndoro Children's Charities; The Open Spaces Society; Surfers Against Sewage; Trees for Cities; The World Land Trust; and The Young People's Trust for the Environment.

On September 14, 2007, Wisconsin activst Amy Burns sent out a circular urging her readers to go to the Baltimore Sun to join in what is destined to be one of its hottest forums ever, a war of minds over the "sport" of hunting, with emphasis on bow-hunting. While her readers began pondering, comments from the pro-hunting side came in hard and fast. "America's most-hated Anti" Anthony Marr jumped in head first, and so did leading anti-huntresses Tierra and Mamasita. Amazingly, the battle is still raging as we speak, more than two years later in November 23, 2009! The total number of comments so far has exceeded 93,000, and growing. This is a phenomenon, and destined to be a classic, not to be missed if you care about animals at all.

3RD WORLD WAR – The dj monkey Halloween Video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_BCuw70AOs
"DJ Monkey …soul-stirring, excitingly edgy music…just disturbing (read ‘mind-f**king’) enough to demand attention. There is a whole spice rack of auditory flavors here, served up like fractured poetry on a collection of intensely listenable Hallmark cards from Hell." Bill Margold, Cinema Seen, L.A. X..Press

Here is a brief summary:
When I last wrote about oil on Saturday, Dec 20, 2008, I was lucky enough to precisely pick the bottom of the West Texas Intermediate. (According to DOE data, Texas light sweet crude hit its daily five year low of $30.28 the following Tuesday.) Back then, an ounce of gold would buy you 21.3 barrels of oil, over 25% more than the 25 year average of 16.8 barrels. Currently, we are at 13.5 barrels of oil per ounce, which is almost 20% less than average. Given the deflationary economic environment and newly overheated stock market, I would rather bet on oil taking a tumble than gold prices catching up. Especially because other commodity prices confirm this line of thinking.
