Ibrahim started playing for PSV’s youth team since he was young; He made his first team debut at the age of 17 in PSV’s KNVB Cup match vrs NAC Breda. However Ibi didn’t break through as a first team regular until the end of the next season, the highlight was scoring 2 of the goals in PSV’s 4.2 win vrs Feyenoord.
Afellay has been seen as one of the best up and coming stars of Dutch football with the talent, determination and heart that he shows every week in the Eredivisie. Because of this he has caught the eye of some major clubs around Europe.
Ibi, even though born in Holland, has Moroccan descent. Therefore he was eligible to play for the Dutch and the Moroccan national teams. Ibi was caught in the middle when both managers selected him to play for their national side. In the end he picked Holland. His debut for the Nederland’s was on March 28th 2007 vrs Slovenia.
20Th April 2008 - PSV Eindhoven won their 21st league title, Ibis fouth in total with the club
17th June 2008 - Ibi started and played his first 90mins for the Nederlands in the EURO win over Romania(2.0) - UN-BIAS...MOTM me thinks!!

we can get them in the qualification period of the euro league. we'll see if there will be any reunion :D
joris stays here. but he said in a dutch interview that he doesn't like the transfer policy & he wants to win something big, also he criticised his teammates and some people think that he done it because he wants to provoke his leaving ... to amsterdam :X
and i heard that his girlfriend cristel isn't happy no longer in
hamburg and she yearns for her home in the netherlands :| and so he
wants to leave in a year or so. but his contract will expire in 2012,
he renews it last year for 4 years -.-
i will see where we will go :P
but i will go to alkmaar anyway. we play vrs them in july (:

all the papers say that bruno labbadia (still @ bayer leverkusen,
but he is in trouble with the chef) will come in the next days &
will underwrite his contract but that's not offical. so i think he is our new man! hope he
will buy some GOOD new guys for us, we really need them!!!

Well ya i know it's a good league i mean 2 teams from holland have won the champions league 2 time each but id like to see you play at a higher level maybe premier league. Good luck though

i just watched a reportage about this game in our german tv. mostly the reportage was about huub *hehe* but they showed the backround informations beyond this game. psv & rotterdam are 35 times dutch champion & how important this game for both teams is!

Ohhhohhoh! We don't hear any good news here about him and Psv =| Huub said in a newspaper that one player, Edison Mendez, didn't want to listen to him. He didn't want to work with him o.Ô And he said that his players never disappointed him in a way like they do now!
