The New iCande
They’re young, giggly, southern, and too cute for words.
They admit to loving tuna helper, scalloped potatoes, Miley Cyrus, the theatre, all types of music, PB&J and old rock and roll.
Hailing from the Carolinas, the new iCande seems ready to take on the world.
They dance, sing, and love being together.
The girls feature Rachel Tripp, who carries lead vocals and is an amazing young entertainer. In 2008 she released "Sweet Charley Baby" and "Loves Makes a Woman," that went straight to number 1 on the Beach, Blues, and Boogie charts. Sweet Charley Baby is in the Beach Music Hall of Fame. Pretty cool stuff for a 15 year old. Now her focus is pop music and iCande. She has amazing back up in Savannah, Mary Riley, and Rachel K. They sing, dance, and totally entertain. The girls all have different styles from rocker, to preppie, to boho, but one focused goal, performing.
Songwriter/producer extraordinaire Kirsti Manna (Austin – Blake Shelton number 1 for 5 weeks, and Loud – Big and Rich) has penned the great tunes. Producer/engineer Bill Warner is performing his usual studio magic. It’s an unstoppable team. Add in super choreographer Leigh Anne Davis, amazing photographer Terry Ehrlich, Manager Donna Ehrlich, vocal coach Eileen Lee, and event coordinator Kathy Porter, and it’s a sure win-win.
