ICARES BIO:
Icares formed in the early Spring of 2002 in Omaha, NE. Like a large majority of NE bands, members were collaborated through musical adds on the popular web site Slam Omaha. The members consist of Tim Blair (Drums), Mike Torczon (Bass), John James Reuben Shepherd (Lead Guitar) & Ryan Osbahr (Guitar and Vocals). The 4 piece Power Pop Rock band has made it's mark on the Omaha music scene at a rapid pace.
Icares has graced the stage of venues such as the now closed Ranch Bowl in Omaha,NE to Knickerbockers in Lincoln, NE, and everywhere inbetween, but layed their roots @ the now closed Howard Street Pub in the Old Market of Downtown Omaha. Sad so many bars close in Omaha...
Playing with acts such as Grasshopper Takeover, The Venaculas, Emphatic, our good friends Safeword, Liquid Static, Carolyn's Mother (Denver,CO), Blacklight Sunshine (Lincoln,NE), Anchondo, LoveTap, Old Boy Network, Famous FM (Kansas City) and The Starch Martins (Chicago, IL) to name a few. Icares has been creating a large buzz surrounding the band since the Summer of 2002, and now in 2006 have established themselves as one of Omaha's "hardest working" bands.
Playing straight forward rock music that appeals to 21+ drinking crowds, Icares sold out of their 1st 500 copies of their demo CD in less then 3 months. Sold over 2000 copies of their debt self titled CD. Their Mailing list consists over over 500+ recepients, and the band recently played in front of 1,300 at Benson High School.
In the late Spring of 2004, Icares released their debut CD, and have been supporting it by touring regionally and locally in Omaha and the surrounding cities. Check the show dates near you at www.icaresmusic.com. In the late fall of 05, Icares added John James Reuben Shepherd to the mix on lead guitar, to finally fill that last piece to the puzzle. John has played with several Jazz bands previoulsy, but felt it was time to rock and gave Icares a try!! We couldn't be happier as a 4 piece. Icares released the 2nd CD entitled "In Good Company" in May of 2007. It instantly received notice for it's harder, edgier sound and radio interludes randomly throughout the CD. Icares is currently working on new material for their 3rd CD, to be out this fall. Look for ICARES in a town near you real soon!!! Hope to see you all in the near future!! Take care~

Hey guys, good luck with that slowdown show, but don't forget to tell the underage peeps that they need to have a permission slip and it needs to be notarized. They're dicks about it because if they don't they can get into major trouble.
"fakes" are still an in thing- but a fake or getting caught with one right now this close..doesn't seem that worth it to me. I guess you'll still be kickin in a month or so I hope. Then it will be no worries.
