I was born in 1979 in a coal mining town called Worksop in North Nottinghamshire. It has changed a lot over the years and the pit was closed amongst many others in 1994. Most of my relatives used to have jobs relating to the local coal industry before they closed the mines. E.g. Coal Miner, Pit Electrician, Coal Train Driver and Tunnelling machine designer / draughtsman.
I have now moved across the pennines to Manchester to live with my boyfriend Chris. I still miss my old friends though back home, especially all of the Sheffield Shadows! We had so many great times that I will never forget, on bus trips, at tournaments and on hockey camps. I don't think I've ever laughed so much in my life.
Another huge love in my life is Music, I met my boyfriend through my love of music by Embrace and a whole heap of friends who I have had many adventures with. Caravans, road trips, festivals, gigs, ligs and beavers all have a special place in my heart! May there be many more good times to come....
I saw Ryan Adams last night. He was amazing. I heart him.
I'm so tired though. And Adrian has a gig tonight (someone from Colombia US is coming over to see them). All I wanted to do was to go home, get into my pj's, eat tortillas and watch ugly betty!

Nope I do not have any Ash tickets yet - is it sold out? it seems like there are a million gigs that I need to get tickets for at teh moment and I dont know where to start. Its my birthday on Weds so I am out on Friday for drinks if you are about after work. I imagine the car will create problems though...:(
