Selling thousands of demos and receiving hundreds of fan letters from all over the world every week really made ICE AGE one of the hottest and most interesting underground metal acts at that time.
ICE AGE toured Europe and was selling out big venues before they broke up in 1990 and are today remembered as the only true female thrash metal band in history ever.
A quick note to inform you that a brand new ICE AGE web site is under construction and will be out real soon. Some may think it..s strange making a web page about a band long time gone, but I assure you the band might be dead and buried but certainly not forgotten.
I still receive lots of letters, mails and even phonecalls from people all around, wanting information concerning ICE AGE. There's still an interest in the band and that gave us inspiration to do this "soon coming up" web site. Loads of pix, music, videos guaranteed and of course great fun, I promise.
Well it has been a long time, hasn't it? I saw you many moons ago at the Marquee when I was fresh faced and less, erm, gnarly. Thanks so much for making the demos readily available....they still sound so fresh and NOW after all this time, I'd almost forgotten how much attitude you had back then....'Making my Mark' being a great example...=) In a current metal climate where bands such as me old mates Evile enjoy much success, it's a shame you gals aren't doing this anymore...=/ ...but at least the music is still there, right?
