Influences
Anything with love and energy can inspire me. I seem to be inspired mostly by natural sounds and random occurences than by other music. Most of my ideas come when out surfing, being tossed around by the ocean, or listening to the sounds of a city, things like that.
As far as music goes, i am deeply inspired by Amon Tobin, Dom and Roland, Shapeshifter, Concord Dawn, Noisia, Tech Itch, Paul Simon, Flight of the Concords, and of course the musicians I've recorded with; Elise Adlam, Blue Meenies, Mahara Tocker......
But on the whole Aroha nui(big love)to all the music coming out of Aotearoa!!
