I have a wide variety of interests including music (Heavy Metal, see above and below), politics/current events, comedy, educational television (i.e. Discovery Channel, History Channel, etc) books, and combat sports.
Music
....,,// HEAVY F'N METAL!!! ....,,// Pre-Load Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Stratovarius, Symphony X, Blind Guardian, Evergrey, Nightwish, Sentenced, Pain of Salvation, Nevermore, Mystic Prophecy, Firewind, Sonata Arctica, Soilwork, Lacuna Coil, In Flames
Movies
I like Martial Arts movies starring actors like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Stevel Seagal, and most recently Tony Jaa. I also like _funny_ comedies. Office Space is one of my favorite movies (yes, I know it sound cliche and I don't care). I generally avoid movies that get nominated for an Oscar and/or require me to fire more than two neurons while watching them as well as "chick flicks."
You Are 35% Impulsive
You're a pretty stable and serious person. You don't take things lightly.
This doesn't mean you can't have fun - you just have fun responsibly.
You definitely have a spontaneous side, but you only let loose when it's appropriate.
You like partying and politics - and are likely to be young and affluent.
You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats.
Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book.
You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves.
Comedy Central, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Untold Stories of the ER, Forensic Files, The New Detectives, Discovery Health Channel, UFC, PRIDE Fighting Championship, International Fight League, IFL, Boxing, K-1, The Daily Show
Books
I generally don't read fiction. What I do read a lot are comedic books, and non-fiction. Currently (at the time I typed this) reading _Serial Killers_ by Rodney Castledan, and the last book I read before that is _When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops_ by George Carlin
Heroes
I don't really have any heroes because I don't believe in hero worship. I think every person has his or her good points and bad points, and it's important to recognize both. That doesn't mean, however, that there aren't people I admire.
I am a .Net developer. I currently program in ASP .Net and C-Sharp. I LOVE what I do, and I am excellent at it, especially for someone with less than 2 years experience.
About me: As my headline says, I am a clean-cut professional by day and and a headbanger by night. 9-5 I work as a software developer creating specialized software for people in all sorts of fields from home healthcare to accounting to business. When I'm not at work I like to liten to music (almost exclusively Heavy Metal, see below), go to concerts with mosh pits, read, watch TV, hang out with friends, or spend time outdoors at the various parks and lakes in and around the Raleigh area. My friends and coworkers say I have an excellent, albeit not always wholesome, sense of humor.
Who I'd like to meet: My profile says I am here at Myspace for friends, dating and networking, so let me break this section down by people I'd like to meet in each category.
For friends I'd like to meet some cool new people who share some of my interests or just want to hang out.
For dating, I am pretty open as to who I'd like to meet, but I do have a few selection criteria. I'd like to meet a woman with a college degree who has, or is at least looking for, a professional job and can carry on an intelligent conversation.
For networking, I'd like to meet other .Net programmers who feel the same way about programming as I do. You see, to me my job is more than just a paycheck -- I love what I do, and I'd like to meet some .Net programmers who feel the same way. Also, I know that .Net offers a wide array of programming tools and possibilities and there is always more to learn. I enjoy learning how to become better at what I do and would like to meet people who can teach me things.
You Are 72% Brutally Honest
Most of the time, you tell it like it is. Even if it's hard for people to hear.
Sometimes you hold back though, because you never want your honesty to be hurtful.
You are totally in touch with your masculine side.
In fact, you probably don't understand women at all (even if you are one!)
Dramatic and emotional behavior turns you off. You rather watch football than deal with drama.
alex, as an official "myspace friend" now, i motion you to quit the group as i have done. the more you talk to them (mainly shim, gene, and sasha) the more stupid you get. they're all tools and just barely have enough intelligence to SOUND smart to half the population. but those with an IQ above 100 can see right through them. they're charlatans. at first it annoyed and pissed me off that people could be duped by their idiocy and it really bothered me that these people were not exposed for who they truly were. but several people have exposed them on numerous occasions, and they're not going away. it's like arguing with 6th graders who have a good vocabulary (though i must say that all three of them misuse words and their meanings right and left).
Thanks for supporting melodic metal and being a friend to Crescent Shield. Check out our free full album download here. Metal-Rules.com calls it "a pure heavy metal experience with no gimmicks or tricks, just great songs, riffs, and melodies. 4.5/5" Hail! -Dan
