Icehouse Recording is a vibey, famously-designed recording studio located in San Rafael, CA, just 20 minutes from San Francisco and Oakland. It is owned and operated by producer/engineer Joey Muller, a former programmer for Grammy-winning producer Walter Afanasieff (Savage Garden, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey).
The studio was designed by Dr. Richie Moore, renowned creator of Abbey Road and Electric Ladyland studios. The resulting space is one that engineers love and musicians can’t leave.
We are just one block from music stores Bananas at Large and E*Guitars and surrounded by great restaurants, pubs, and other amenities.
