Ice Skating! Cheerleading, linguistics, cultural studies, international studies, Computers, Web Design, Story Writing, sci-fi, craft, cooking. I love to read and design my own websites.
I like to know as much as I can. There are so many things we don't understand and so many mysteries to solve. I love history and have begun learning about Shakespeare. I'd love to learn latin, italian and french and am learning cooking, ballet, music and grammar.
I love to sing and craft things like sewing, scrapbooking, knitting and card making. I'd like to learn gymnastics and am determined to go en pointe and do double axels. I love doing spread eagles and ina bauers in my skating. I also love cheerleading which is hard to do in Australia.

Fringe, Heroes, Dr Who, Stargate, Jericho, Threshold (taken off WAY too soon!), Daria, Veronica Mars...OMG...the Simpsons (how could I forget??!!?)...I miss Stargate! Our Ch7 keeps taking off the good shows! Torchwood is Ok but kind of dark. For a Dr Who spin off the bit I saw of the 'Sarah Jane Adventures' was better.
I've only gotten in to the Gilmore Girls and Scrubs recently. Both I've come across a bit late but I like them.
Of the more recent shows Merlin is good and I really like the cooking on Master Chef Australia. :) | | Books |
Currently trying to read Mark Twain 'The Prince and the Pauper'. I read Mao's Last Dancer which was wonderful and am still trying to conquor War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. I'd like to read Marcel Proust and Out of Africa.
I'm trying to focus on the classics at the moment and am trying to read all the black Penguin Classics. I would like to actually finish Jane Austen one day but don't have much time to read novels whilst I'm studying.
I've also been reading some Shakespeare and some poetry. | | Heroes |
Don't really have any. I'm not really in to heroes except for the TV show. Heroes are people like firefighters or police or rescue people who save lives. People who survive are brave (no question of that) but I don't see them as heroes, just amazing. :) |

About me:
I'm currently living and studying on campus at Macquarie University. I've just completed my first trimester (slightly different program) and kicked the butt of my exams. :) I loved my cultural studies class and want to study cultural and international studies and linguistics.
I love to ice skate and want to learn American style cheerleading. I make websites so sometimes I prefer myspace to facebook but have to use facebook because my friends do. :(
I also believe in following your dreams and that you know your limits - others don't so ignore them when they say you can't do something. Only you know that! And I really hate being told I'm too old to do something. I never want to become a boring adult who works, drinks and that's it. Ugh! I always want to be learning new things and having lots of crazy fun.
I don't drink. This is a major point with me and I really don't understand the club scene. I have waaayy more fun without alcohol which makes me feel sick if I have more than one a week (unless it's used in cooking).
Final note: I'm all over the web 'cause I sign up to too many websites. 43 things, facebook, blogspot, picasaweb, technorati, digg, youtube...say hi if you like and I have the same username in all places (but don't send me gross stuff!). I love everything Google but reckon one day they'll take over the world and everyone will get mad but will also use them until then. I hate Mac Computers and refuse to get Windows vista or Linux so if I need a new computer I'm in trouble! LOL.

Who I'd like to meet:
Sasha Cohen and the two guys who started Google. They are all amazing people and very good at what they do.
I'd also like to meet Jesus. I'm not hugely religious but I think it would be a fascinating conversation.
I'd like to meet Elizabeth I. I did a research project on her a few years back and she was a remarkable woman. Also Cleopatra to find out what she thinks of the fuss made of her.
My one true love.
My grandparents. Particularly my mother's father who was born in 1892 and died before I turned 1. All my grandparents died before I was 10 so I barely rememeber them. When my grandfather was a child they still used gas lamps. I'd love to ask them what they think of the world today.
