FACE LEVEL RIVERBOARDING
FACE LEVEL AIRBOARDING
I’m a Creative Artist, an Extreme Athlete, and an Entrepreneur. I love Riverboarding and Airboarding! I have been swimming whitewater at face level since I was 14 years old (when we would do it without wetsuits, fins, or padding, and on inner-tubes!), and I've been "snow bodyboarding" (aka Airboarding) since I was about 2 years old (but we used to use thick sheets of slick plastic - Airboards are MUCH nicer!). I’ve had the good fortune to riverboard in many places around the country as well as quite a few different countries around the world - I'm working on the "every continent" thing, so far I've got North America, Central America, New Zealand (that's kinda Australia, right?) and Europe (mainland and Scandinavia).
I have many hobbies and passions, but the focus of this page is primarily Riverboarding and Airboarding, although I'll probably throw some other pics up just for fun, since I do a lot of other athletic things too.
I’m very blessed that I get to do what I want pretty much whenever I want. I work hard for that freedom, but it’s well worth it, since I don’t like other people or entities telling me what to do and when to do it. Plus I have this duality thing going on with permanence, (I hate endings AND lack of variance), so it works out much better for me to do my own thing than to even attempt to hold down a typical job. Think & Grow Rich, baby, even if it's just rich in living. But what other kind of rich is there? Only LIFE.
Riverboarding (and now all the other Face Level sports) is something that I’m extremely passionate about, and I’ve spent quite a few years working hard to get to where I am now and to develop Face Level™ into the company that it is today. The industry has seen measurable growth the past couple of years and I’m proud that my company has been a large part of it, and we’ll be working harder and smarter to sustain that growth for the long haul and remain at the forefront of the industry.
That said though, Face Level does not define me - I’m an enigmatic dude with a plethora of passions and goals that drive me, so you’re just as likely to see me designing a 7,943 square foot house or writing a song on the piano as you are to finding me riverboarding off a waterfall or careening down a mountain at 54mph. All have their place and bring meaning to this great journey that is my Life.

This video is the trailer for the last Expedition race - 2008's race in Montana was even more awe-inspiring than Utah was. They just keep getting better. I'm stoked to get to be part of their organization and hope to do so for the long haul.

I'm always thrilled to meet people who love Riverboarding, Airboarding, and other face level sports, or are at least willing to give it a shot, because there's nothing better than taking a first-timer down the river or the mountain and seeing that ear-to-ear grin when they fly through their first big rapid or off that first big jump! I get a thrill out of that, so if you think what I do looks fun, I'd be more than happy to get you on a board and out on the water or snow. Just ask! But I'm warning you...nearly everybody who tries Riverboarding or Airboarding is hooked for life! :-D
I am in Ks, havent got to riverboard yet, just got into this..but planning on going to Denver out at Clear Creek first chance. Cool that you are getting into scuba, alot different than being ontop of the water...huh :) The kansas river and some of the creeks around here are the only rapids after a good strong rainstorm. I pretty much dive blackwater and zero visibility diving for recovery efforts. If you get a chance go to Eureka Springs, ARkansas to dive at Beaver Lake
