I Ching Gatos
on a mission from God
rocking and rolling through
Shades of Grayson
and the Mysterious Mess.
Have a little levity with your gravity
and do the wheel with us
whether you're on the bus or off the bus,
and even if you are obviously oblivious,
take a little minute and listen in.

All of the bands above featured Jose Sanchez on lead vocals and guitar
and Joe Belk on drums.
The bands were built on songs written by Jose Sanchez, usually on his own,
but sometimes with collaborators, and live performances punctuated by "gatofied" versions of popular cover songs.
By the spring and summer of 2005, back at Tacoland,
I Ching Gatos had become a power duo.
Alicia joined the band in August, 2005.
She was an integral part of our December 2007 release,
"Shades of Grayson".
Now that she has moved on to college
(at an undisclosed location)
she has achieved Emeritus status.
We look forward to welcoming her back in the future.
Over the last few years, when Alicia could not make it to a show,
we would ask one of our friends to fill in for the night.
These star bass players included Robert Adams, Mike Phelan, Billy Markette,
and now, in January, 2009, we welcome Alfonso Padilla, who plays guitar, and saxophone to our extended supporting family of friends.
"Mysterious Mess" is now in the final stages of genesis or something like it.
Thanks for being our friend, be sure to check out the show and tune in every Friday afternoon, full details on how to listen are on our page. Let us know what you think of the show and tell your friends to listen too!
