Ëigen Wijze CatWalk Tuesday June 24th 2008 (13:30hrs) Rotterdam Accent College Nolenslaan 99b Schiedam NL. tel 0031-10-347-35-377 I was recently invited, during the opening of NUZYN www. nuzyn. nu, a high-end boutique, located in Rotterdam, by one of the guests, Mariel Vieira from www. darlingoftherunway. com, to collaborate on a project called "Ëigen Wijze CatWalk". Ëigen Wijze CatWalk is a project focused on offering young students (14 -17 years old) at Rotterdam Accent College an opportunity to design a tee-shirt line, organise a fashion show, and cast models (other students) for the runway. My part, was to offer hair & make-up lessons, and to provide images from a fashion photoshoot to be used during the show as well as for the models themselves. This self confidence boosting project for the students was a unique moment for me to offer insight to young people that the fashion and beauty industry is a worthwhile expansion on the career choices young people have today in their schools. Although this is short notice, I would suggest to try to schedule it in as part of an opportunity to enjoy the efforts and to support young fashion minded people whom, without the initiative of Miss Vieira, may not have considered fashion as a possiblity! HUGO + GEORGE	May 27 2008 1:51 AM 3 months have past since the last RED CLUB that means a new initiative from the mysterious men from Monaco is inevitable. A couple of successful events in different venues ranging from a long forgotten hotel to a wonderfully cultural place like "DE UNIE" have made Hugo + George known to a select audience of inspiring, international people from all creative walks of life: Design, Architecture, Fashion, Music and Nightlife. People of true character, they know what they want and where to get it. To live up to the demands of this type of audience on this 4th dutch edition of RED CLUB. Hugo + George have invited a great talent from Portugal, MOULINEX, who's the cornerstone of a totally fresh and exciting sound which could best be described as distorted electro on steroids.
