Icon X was born in the winter of 2007 by Nex, the founder and songwriter of the band.
After he played and toured with his ex band, Exense throughout Italy and Canada, he decided to focus himself on a new project, so he began composing new material.
To date they have several new songs that are characterized by a unique style.
A style where electronic pop-rock is laced with hints of emo and gothic sounds with warm and rich vocals lines. Catchy chorus and dance beats are the headlights of their music.
Nostalgia and deep meaning to the lyrics provide the right backdrop for the band's music, they reflect the world that surrounds Nex and things that touch him deeply.
Icon X defines their style as “Fashion Rock”, to emphasis the importance of both music and images.
One can gain a better understanding of this by following Icon X live, where images will be combined with dancing lights.
The band has just started shooting the first episode in a series to document the world of Icon X, which will let you follow them and gain a better understanding of the band’s world.
They are currently in contact with a couple of producers both in Europe and America to record the album in the upcoming months and Icon X merchandise will be ready soon.
