You can spend your whole life building something from nothing
One storm can come and blow it all away
Build it anyway
You can chase a dream that seems so out of reach
and you know it might not ever come your way
Dream it anyway
God is great, but sometimes life ain't good
And when I pray it doesn't always turn out like I think it should
But I do it anyway.
Sometimes it seems this world's gone crazy and it's hard to believe
that tomorrow will be better than today
Believe it anyway.

Too much to tell -so little space. I'm the political blogger known as Iddybud, whose blog has appeared on CNN's "Inside the Blogs". I also write a political blog for my city newspaper's website. By invitation, I blogged the 2006 Clinton Global Initiative Meeting in Manhattan as a member of the press.
I am active in progressive politics in my city of Syracuse NY. I'm a Christian, a poet, a writer, and a music-lover. Fine literature keeps me interested in life. If it weren't for art, I wouldn't get through. Music is also at the center of my life. I sing, I play, I listen, I bob my head to the beat, I tap my fingers, I dance with joy. I see this world as a beautiful place. In the barren and forgotten places where beauty cannot seem to grow, I envision peace and justice - and I live just to see that vision become a reality. I don't believe that I was brought to this garden without a having a responsibility to tend to it. When I want to read a great story, I get out my keyboard and write one. BLOG: Iddybud Journal
Who I'd like to meet:
I wish that I could meet and thank every person in the world who believes in social justice - and acts to make it happen. My friends in music are especially welcome to join me.
Music is a healing force in our world.
Music is far more powerful than war could ever be.
See my MySpace friends Chris and Guillermo playing Silvertown (one of my favorite songs!)

Thank you so much for supporting our Troops!!! I appreciate it and I know our Troops overseas appreciate it.
It's that time of year where we ask you for your support. We are currently working on our 2010 calendars to send to our Troops serving to thank them for their service overseas and we need your help.
Please visit our website (banner/link on my page and below) and myspace page (the top friend) and do what you can. Read about what we do and please make a donation so we can thank our Troops. They deserve our thanks! No donation is too small or too large. Your donation is tax dedictible as we are a 501(c)(3) and well over 90% of all money we receive goes to thank our Troops and support our wounded.
We are only able to do this every year because of you and everyone else who supports our Troops. I hope we can continue thanking those who give so much!
Please help us out and thank you in advance!
