Start: idea idea is an exciting new collaboration between musician Lanie Lane, and producer/musician Master of Ribongia

Rewind: Together, they have created an extremely unique electronically based sound, inspired by a mix of some of the most groundbreaking European electronic genres, and a respect for good old classic song writing.

Pause: M.o.R’s inventive brand of wonky/skweee/glitch, coupled with Lanie Lane’s vintage sounding vocals and pop sensibility, makes for some truly original tunes. There really is nothing else like this around.

Play: idea idea have manifested a very entertaining live show, whether it be just the two core members playing with vocal splitters, kaosilators and glockenspiels, or when they include their costumed dance troupe, full live band, live visual projections & lighting effects. This spectacular visual expression inspires the music and the music inspires the visual artists involved.

Fast Forward: idea idea have just released their debut single Set Sail with an underwater video clip to boot. They are currently working on an EP, which will no doubt be packed with even more innovative ideas.
