Well it all starts around 2002, when Andy Allen, then a 7th grader at Onekama Middle School started to show his friend Marty Yaple (an 8th grader at Bear Lake School and also Andy's friend ever since they could walk) some cool riffs on the guitar. From then on these friends played together off and on until January, 2005 when Marty recruited one of his friends and fellow drummers in the School band Michael Bobian. So from then on, the lineup was Marty: Guitar and vocals, Andy: Guitar, backing vocals, and Michael: Drums. They quickly settled on the name Ideal Balance after Andy's brother Luke saw it on power bar wrapper. The bands first show was at the Bear Lake school dance in April, 2005. The guys were a huge hit and the band decided they needed to record some songs because people wanted to hear more of the band. So the guys recorded a demo and passed them around to kids who wanted one. Before they knew it, it was June 3 and the summer began! Thats when the band really took off. In the summer months, Andy lives in his old house witch is about a mile from Marty's house. Andy used to live their but his family moved to Onekama when he was in 1st grade. Anyway Michael's house is in between Andys and Martys so the band was within walking distance of each other. They hung out and jammed pretty much every day the whole summer. There second show ever was at the Sunshine Cafe in Bear Lake. This show was heavily attended by family members of the band and the place was packed! After this show the band played A few more shows including another one at the Sunshine Cafe. When school rolled around again, the bands time together was shortened. There was another Dance that Ideal Balance was asked to play at and they gladly obliged. It was at this dance where more people started hearing about Ideal Balance. Soon again the band was back into the recording studio (Michaels house). They released there second album which was a huge step up from the first. The sound quality was better and just the overall sound of the group was a big change from 4 months ago. Well, the future holds great things for Ideal Balance. They have gotten some recognition in the local music scene and hope to be playing more shows soon.

well idk ill talk to em and see what she wants to do. i do wanna go to vegas but idk if i could think of somewherecooler. i wanna go somewhere with like clubs and stuff though. like vegas, and they have casinos and stuff. idk

Great new songs! You guys should make a CD of your newer songs..because now that i am older...I actually have some money to buy one..! Keep up the good work!
My favorite song would have to be Status Quo, then The Truth Never Dies, then Alone...But they are all pretty awesome!

yeah i talked to him a couple days ago and either i will drive to him or he will being coming back to bear lake for the weekend.. but yeah i haven't been doing much skateboarding but they are about to make a park where i am living so i will probly start back up. but i can't wait to be up there to see you guys
yeah i got to rep to old town son!! and yes i am leaving the 14 the head up there with a friend from oklahoma.. and will be there intil the 24 i think.. so yeah i will be seeing you soon..
