Hi MySpace Friends,

A group of MySpace singers/songwriters got together in London on 23 June 2009 to perform their songs for one another. The event became known as the Gig-in-the-field and it was a huge success. Here is a short video clip of the first three songs from The Off Beats' performance

Im used to people saying its really 90's and passe.I have the 1" tape from the sessions here, if I can afford it I would like to get new drums etc on it, and give it more of a timeless feel and maybe include it on the CD, we'll see. Your comments helped me alot. OD was written when I was in the darkest period of my life, we tracked it about 10 years back xxo

Reminds me of a young Francis of Asissi crossed with Gilligan. He popped by weeks ago and did Liturgy of the hours on my property by the Vic Ladies table , I wasnt home at the time. He called later and told me about it, but all he said was..'just ask the animals and the birds, we did something special at your place', in his thick polish accent. You would love him, told him I want to go to the next ordination if possible blah blah back to editing all the burp and grunt tracks of Mr. W xox
Georgina Taylor	Jul 3 2009 7:11 AM Yes, I have seen Mr.White, he expired all over my song, bloody hell 16 tracks of varying grunts, groans, moans and gurgles. Gave him some antacid after he got stuck in the casing of the studio door. Fire Dept had to come in the end, took 6 burly men to get him unstuck. Bloody hell!! Had to give him an ice cold foot bath to boot, something to do with his planter warts acting up, either that or his rutabeggas. Lets just say it wasnt studio 54 in the control room Phew....(fatty and skinny went to bed, fatty rolled over and skinny was dead). :P xoxo
