Frederick, MD February 20, 2007 -- PublishAmerica is proud to present Together, Alone, a collection of
poems by Ali Khaghani, of Stockton, California. Born in Iran with Persian ethnicity, Khaghani has a
heritage rich in poetry; a culture where the likes of Rumi, Hafes, Attar, and Khayyam lace Persian
poetry, literature, and philosophy. Khaghani’s life and family were torn apart by the 1978 revolution
and the consequent bloody war, making vagabonds of them all. Early on, Khaghani became a
victim/beneficiary of circumstance.
Suddenly Khaghani was a modern-day gypsy, one who would benefit greatly in return by gaining small
doses of multicultural values and an acute sense of global awareness. Khaghani’s youthful lessons
and values therefore became rich in abundance and vast in variety. Such prosper due to
adversities
and the sheer magnitude of sights and sounds during Khaghani’s most influential
years of growth and development in time have lent a distinct approach and diverse
perception of
life, and consequently Khaghani’s poetry. This sublime resource rich in wisdom and emotional
extremities has allowed Khaghani a unique sense of spiritual maturity.
