I Defy are a five piece metal/hardcore band from Swindon, Wiltshire. I Defy are Ex-Members of Eternal Lord (Golf/Ferret Records), Machine Made God (Metal Blade) and Romeo Must Die (IATDE Records).

I Defy have played and toured with bands such as Biohazard, Devil Sold His Soul, Breed 77, All that Remains, Job for a Cowboy, Mastodon, Misery Signals, Textures, We Butter the Bread with Butter, Sylosis, Viatrophy, Malefice, Knuckledust, Annotations of an Autopsy, Anterior, Romeo Must Die, The Defiled, Trigger the Bloodshed and more

‘I Defy’ was the self-titled first release of the band and was released on an Independent and 'one off' basis via Lockjaw Records. The bands first release 'I Defy' is available to buy via HMV, Amazon, Play.com, iTunes, CD Wow, Lockjaw Records and Plastic Head Distribution.

After extensive touring and the success of their UK and European dates I Defy went to Germany in July 2010 to record with none other than Sky Van Hoff (Caliban, Machine-Made God, Kreator). After more touring in support of their single release I Defy started preparing for their debut album and returned to Sky Van Hoff. It has taken non-stop work over many months but is sure to become the cornerstone of I Defy's musical career. With final production underway more news is to be released soon....
