I Did Not Die is a "Darkwave" project/band started by me, ElMeR HaLL. Darkwave music is a style from post-punk where elements from soft-pop, music for horror-movies, and what developed into the "metal" genres are melted together. I am a musician who loves simple brutal guitars, earth-pounding drums, strummy chrous' and music that makes you want to move. I love to write music that I want to hear. It just happens that other people like what I like. I write to express myself. How I feel, what I think, or how I feel about a certain subject (politics, religion, legalizing weed, etc.) I do not give a fuck what people think of me. I am here on this earth to do whatever I want in the short time I will be here. I am here to let people know how I feel and to let them know that life is what you make it. You can do WHATEVER the fuck you want. It's all about mind power and believing in yourself. Not all people are meant to be smart and powerful though, but if you believe in yourself anything is possible. This is my life and it will be whatever I make it. So far after all I have been through it has been hard and complicated. I have loved. I have lost. I have hurt. Even after that I Did Not Die. I will live my life, for this is the only one I get. Geez...I'm having that same problem again... Actually, people have come back from the dead...one of my masters degree classes was on Near-Death experiences where ppl went to the other side and came back. Some went further than others. Some stayed in the room before going to the light and came back saying things they couldn't have possibly heard or known cuz they were clinically dead at the time... That's what I study... To me, if you've never studied it, how would you know? I thought you had a free mind...yet you shut my views down and take offense?!?
