Allright everyone. Fort Wilson Riot is pleased to make a couple of announcements.
First off, we've been asked to present an encore presentation of Idigaragua at the Bedlam this spring!! Yes, if you missed it the first time or can't quite remember all the details through that alcohol haze you will have another chance to catch Idigaragua: Bigger, Badder, and UNCUT!!!. This has tentatively been scheduled for April 1st through the 13th at the Bedlam Theatre. We will run the show in repertory with a new Lamb Lays With Lion production entitled Massgraves. We will show both productions nightly, alternating the order of the shows.
Also, we've been accepted into the St-Ambroise Fringe de Montreal (Montreal Fringe Festival) in June. We will perform Idigaragua as part of the festival and hopefully play some FWR shows on the way up there. This is truly an exciting and unprecedented event for us as a rock band. Last year at this time we were just beginning the recording process for Idigaragua the album and had no idea we'd even perform it as a theatrical production at all . . . and here we are preparing to take it on the road!!!! Thanks to all our family, friends and fans who have made it not only possible, but as rewarding as it has all been.
In the twilight, with the house shivering in the humidity, I heard a choir of angels seeping out from under my housemate's bedroom door. Finding my lungs suddenly unnecessary, I followed it until I was as close as I dared, and in what seemed to me to be only a moment, the darkness passed and I heard birds calling from in the branches of the big oak tree out back, and I found myself with a months growth of beard. In other words, your music sounds really really good.
