Who I am? Isn’t it so hard to answer that? I’ll do it the short way and the best I can. I am Idil Mese; a musician, a singer, composer (I have 150 songs), guitar-player, song-writer, amateur poet, American Culture and Literature student, Double major Journalism student, a high honor degree student in both branches thankfully =))), search and rescue team dogs trainer’s assistant for Turkish Government (Civil Defense), Tracking adorer, FRP freak, Bahcesehir University Erasmus Dinners and Parties organizator, this year an Erasmus Student in University of Ulster (Wait for Me Northern Ireland!), an Ex-Turkish Daily News Intern, Ex-Lackawanna Soul and Blues Band back vocal, a liberal, a Beatlesmaniac, Pink Floyd admirer, Bob Dylan lover (my idol), Jazz music fan, so and so… I can always add more titles and change. However my motivations are always creativity and inspiration. When I do something it should be original and creative. I hope someday I can also inspire.
How are you, idilmese? Haven't checked in on you lately, so I swung by to wish you a happy holiday season & hope you are feeling well! Listen, I have another track up on my page, "Attack Of The Mushroom People." You can Hear it right Now, if you'd like at: www.myspace.com/psychedelicpablo OK, that's it for the shameless self-promotion.Thanks for being a friend. adios for now! Pablo
well, your very kind words and thorough listening to what i do has certainly encouraged and inspired me idil, thank you very much. i'm intrigued by the multitude of things you have done and do, from journalism (i come from a family of journalists) to your enthusiasm for poetry, song, literature. and a dog-trainer for the Turkish rescue team?! this is amazing. kudos to you for wearing so many hats, balancing them, and exploring bravely many avenues of our world. hope to see you in Istanbul one day! Looks like a lot of good music is coming from there. enjoy.
Thank you sincerely for the add and the very kind words. I like your voice; very floating and emotional; you sing as if your voice is an instrument you're playing. I like "Misunderstood," great ambiance and textures.
