I have a lot of interests some of which will possibly be something you are interested in too :) Podcasting, Comedy, Making Others Laugh, Music (This is a major passion with me), Reading, Movies, Video Games, Coffee and Cake, Conversations about everything and anything. Writing, Bike Riding, Bands and generally having fun. Also trying to be the best dad I can be to my kids whom I love to bits! Just need someone to share my interests with I guess.
Music
I like all kinds of music and I like helping promote bands through the show. If you are a performer or in a band, feel free to send me your cds and I'll play them on the show if possible. Stuff I dig (just a sample). Metal, Hip Hop, Punk, Grindcore, World Music, Grunge, Industrial, Rock, Pop - Almost any style, if it's cool I am down with it. I guess I do tend more toward extreme music but I like anything that has a bit of heart to it.
Movies
Movies are a passion of mine and I like anything that is well made or has a good storyline. I have a DVD collection of over 1000 discs and it's pretty diverse, ranging through almost every genre you could think of. Maybe we could compare movies one day?
Television
I actually don't watch a lot of television, normally preferring to watch TV series once they get onto DVD as there is nothing worse than waiting for a good show to come out.
Books
I read heaps of books, however in the quest to give you what you need, some of my fave authors are: Stephen King, Anne Rice, Tom Clancy, Dean Koontz, Piers Anthony. I like both fiction and non fiction equally.
Heroes
My kids. Ella and Chloe, you rock my world and keep me going. It's hard being a single parent but these awesome lil' monsters make it worthwhile.
