I began playing guitar when I was 13. Me and a few fellow skateboarders formed a skate punk outfit. From there after that a band rehearsed in the garage we recorded on 4-trak so I started ditching school to write songs. Thats when I got to put to use previous months of drum lessons,y'know after not having a set.. fun stuff! We opened for a great Seattle band called Seaweed. Around then a best friend, from the previous band, was forming Ritual. Years later after school I began working at Club616,mixing live sound, mostly monitors as well as Stage Manager. Learning to ropes in the production part of the business helped. Also I began helping out with samples and some times keyboards for Ritual. Checked out a local paper and played bass for Peel, later got national fame under a different name, and line-up. It ran its course as everything does and I moved to form Puppet with Jon. We played a few live shows before I left. Went in to a friends studio to record an audition tape for a band out of Austin,Tx. called Skrew, they needed a keyboardist for a tour. Changes ensued after as I began to strictly learn how to record. So House Of Blues Studios allowed me to intern. Pretty much for the next 2-3 years I was not playing with anyone or nothing, just absorbing.. Then came ProTools into certain mixes so I began some procrastination with learning that whole deal and trying to get songs that was needing to be heard out and just release something (mostly all a self goal). After I auditioned vocals for DeadHandSystem, they had mentioned to pursue it solo,so it began......I formed Is Death Laughing Until Nothing Is There (idlunit) and recorded songs during studio downtime. The live shows began a year or so after trying people out. Currently looking for a bassist, preferably multitasker in the electronic area. Thanks for your attention. Stay tuned.out.
