Inspiration can be drawn from the strangest situations. A few years ago, during one of my twice weekly visits to the barbershop I was asked about the brand of boot I was wearing. Due to the circumstances (the fellas giving one another a hard time), I responded IT DOESN'T MATTER and in that moment IDM was born. While reflecting on the situation later, I thought about a couple of times during my life when that was the case. As a very young child, I didn't care what I wore (at least not the brand). During my collegiate years, I had some classmates that were from affluent families and they either didn't care or didn't wear brands with which the rest of us were familiar. It was this thinking that lead to the notion that who we are really has nothing to do with the brands we wear, who we are comes from within... "The life I lead, the beliefs I hold are why I understand that greatness and success are not determined by material displays or the opinions of others. The name on the label doesn't matter because... I DEFINE ME!"
This belief is visually reinforced by the logo, which is a lowercase i... inside the i is the silhouette of a man or woman. This is symbolic of the fact that who we REALLYare comes from the inside. Furthermore, it is in a contrasting color alluding to the fact that our true self needs toSTAND OUT!
So, here it is... IDM Wear. The clothing line that celebrates YOU not ME!

In life, we all have goals. Goals are what drive us, what push us forward, what give our life purpose and meaning.
My main goal is to appear and perform my original poem, "Half Hearted," on The Ellen Degeneres Show. I've been working on this goal for 2 years, and I can't give up. If you would like to help, please visit www.RendaWriter.com and sign my online petition that I created to help me get the attention of the show's producers and get me on the show.
Most big goals are reached by setting smaller goals along the way. So my goal is to go from 574 signatures to 650 signatures by May 1st. I can do that easily with your support. Thanks for your support.
