In 2006, Michael and Tait started learning guitar and bass together with the idea of starting a band. After writing some songs they played a couple of shows as iDriveHome. In 2007 the band starting playing around Dundee a lot more, and even played the amazing Doghouse a couple of times. The band planned a five date scottish tour which they had to cancel due to losing a drummer. This ofset all future plans. The next year was again spent mostly writing with playing, the funniest, three shows with some ginger-bloke passing as a drummer.
The start of 2009 iDriveHome returned to playing around Dundee with a new member and an entirely new set with a more mature sound. They went on to complete the disastrous Micro West Coast Tour and then playing numerous shows around their home town. We're entering the studio once more to finish off our Debut E.P. in a hope to have it released by the end of the year.
