Οι Ήφαιστος δημιουργήθηκαν το 2004 από τον Δρακόπουλο Γρηγόρη,Αποστολάκη Μιχάλη & Μπρα Νικόλαο.Χρησιμοποιούν τα πιστά αντίγραφα αρχαίων ελληνικών οργάνων του Μπρα Νικόλαου.(Κιθάρα 7χορδη,Κιθάρα 11χορδη,Λύρα 7χορδη,λύρα 8χορδη,Βάρβιτο 7χορδη,Φόρμιγγα 9χορδη,Τρίγωνο,Πηκτί,Αυλό,Δίαυλο,Κέρας,Κρόταλα, Σείστρα,Κύμβαλα)Ξεκίνησαν τις μουσικές τους περιπλανήσεις διασκευάζοντας κομμάτια που διεσώθησαν από την αρχαία εποχή(π.χ. Επιτάφιος του Σείκιλου ,Ύμνος στην Μούσα) και στην συνέχεια ξεκίνησαν να γράφουν δικές τους συνθέσεις σε μία προσπάθεια αναζήτησης και προσέγγισης του αρχαίου ήχου. Παίξανε σε διάφορες παραστάσεις ,μεταξύ των οποίων στο Ζάππειο Μέγαρό κατά την διάρκεια του Παγκόσμιου Συνεδρίου Ανακύκλωσης,στο 4ο Διεθνές Συνέδριο Καρδιολογίας του Ωνασσείου Καρδιολογικού Κέντρου,στον τελικό Champion League στην Αθήνα 23 Μαίου 2007.Επίσης πραγματοποίησαν σειρά παραστάσεων στο εστιατόριο Ίτριον το καλοκαίρι του 2005. Το 2008 ενώθηκαν με τον Αλέξανδρο Σιδεράκο και την Κρίστια (Spiral Zeus) και συνεχίζουν μαζί ηχογραφώντας την πρώτη τους δισκογραφική δουλειά. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Ifaistos were formed in 2004 (initially with the name Eveldor) by Gregory Drakopoulos ,Michael Apostolakis & Nicolaos Brass .They use handmade true copies of ancient Greek instruments made by Nicolaos Brass (7&11 chords ancient guitar ,7&8 chords lyra ,varvitos ,9 chords forminx ,triangle ,piktis ,pipe ,diavlos ,keras ,krotala ,sistra ,cym
bals.) They began their musical roamings by covering pieces that were rescued from the ancient season(epitaph of seikylos ,hymn to muse etc.) and then they began to compose their own pieces in a effort of search and approach the ancients sounds .They performed live in various places which among them is the Exhibition at Zappeion Conference and Exhibition Center , during the ‘Champions League’ and the World Recycling Convention ,in the 4th International Meeting of Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center (November 30 2006) and in the Champions League Final in Athens (May 23 2007).Also various times they performed live in the Itrion (Ancient Greek Restaurant)in the summertime of 2005 . In 2008 Alexandros Siderakos & Kristia from Spiral Zeus joined Ifaistos and now together they are recording their debut album!
