Hello, and welcome to my Myspace.
My name is John Bowes, and I am an artist/designer based in Dublin, Ireland. I have worked here amongst the Gay Community since 2006 as an artist, making my debut into this proffesion from my work with the Belong To Youth Services.
Born the 7th of September 1989, I have always had an interest in painting, drawing and design. Over the years I have worked with many different artists, and have studied art and design as a recreational hobby. I am mostly self taught, and have a multitude of experience in any department that requires art and design.
One of the proudest acchievements of my life was working with William Evesson, an accomplished oil painter here in Dublin, as well as designing and decorating the art pieces for the Gay Prom that took place in the October 2008 in the Mansion Hall, Dublin. I was also chosen to participate in "The Twelve Doors, The Art of Noone Casey's Door" in April 2009 to paint a mural of my choice for the street's of Dublin.
My art pieces and designs are varied, and I like to challenge myself with various different projects.
