About me:

Welcome to IGCA Rescue Texas and Oklahoma. Our mission is to Rescue and rehome Italian Greyhounds in need. Some come from puppy mills and shelters, others are owner surrenders. All of them need us.

All of our dogs can also be viewed on our website at http://www.igrescuetexas.com. You can download adoption and volunteer applications as well as finding other helpful information!

Our Play Dates are open to ALL Iggies! (No other breeds, please.) There is no charge for coming to play. Just bring your favorite snack and your dogs!

Play Dates are a great way to familiarize yourself with the breed so if you'd like to pop in just to see the spectacle, let us know! We always have foster dogs at the play dates so you can meet them as well!

If you would like to attend, email here to get on the list!

If you would like info on Austin play dates, you can go to meetup.com and search for italian greyhounds. It is run independent of Rescue but lots of Rescue folks and dogs attend.

Tina	Feb 24 2009 6:04 AM Hi, my Elmo, the IG, has a silocele that has multiple stones in it. We are going to have to have it removed.. Have you heard of this happening to IG's often. It's an expensive surgery. We're having it done in 2 weeks. If you have any info I would appreciate it.
