Who I'd like to meet:
What is a Young Professional?
In recent years, the service and technology industries and small businesses have surpassed manufacturing as the driving force of our economy. This has led to a wide array of creative and unique employment opportunities, most of which are being filled by individuals under the age of 40.
This growing force of young people now beginning to enter and dominate our nation’s workforce is recognized as the Young Professional.
A Young Professional is simply a goal- oriented individual between the ages of 21-39 with a mind set to pursue a career path. It is much less the job or vocation that defines the Young Professional as it is the individual’s drive and investment in his or her own future, and consequently the future of the community and our nation as a whole.
Owasco Fire Dept. 4th OF JULY Field Day is on and Owasco along with The Prison City Party Rockers are hoping to make this event bigger and batter than it has ever been. The days festivities begin at 11:00 AM with the best chicken BBQ around. Other foods and beverages available include the tastiest clams and the coldest beer, funnel cakes and more!!! A 4th of July parade kicks off at 1:00 and then at 2:00 in the afternoon The Prison City Part Rockers will tear into their brand of 70’s and 80’s Lost Classic Dance Rock medleys, some great afternoon disco and funk, and their tribute to fun country music hits.
Bring the kids, bring your grandmother, bring the sun block, and bring your dancing shoes, sandals, or flip flops! Great food, cold beer, rides, a playground, a giant waterslide, a terrific weather forecast, and The Prison City Party Rockers. What better way to spend the fourth of July? All for a great cause! It’s all happening at The Owasco Firehouse grounds on Owasco Rd.
Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life.
