It was August 13th 2005 when this show called Locked & Loaded rolled on thru the Lounge. Alex, Juan and me were like fuck it let's go. Really we went to go see Dj Dan but Dieselboy and J Messinian where also there along side a full roster of local talent. Well I was curious as to how Dieselboy's set was gonna go down so I went to the main room, and bam! First track he dropped was Voodoo People the Pendulum Rmx, after that I was hooked on Drum and Bass. Well shortly after Alex and me started stockin up on dnb tracks, we finally found our genre. Little by little we got our friends into it, Juan even tried MC'n, shit we kicked up a crew again, Proper Inc. I've performed at local drum and bass shows around Dallas, Two Tone, Koncrete Jungle, Mick's , a few other gigs. I've also been a part of a live internet feed mixshow with Dropstyle's Dj Mishap. I'm tellin you mixin along side other dj's is a great experiance and is one of the best ways Iv'e realized to enhance my mixin style. But I've also figured I shouldn't have to mix it up with em all the time, plus why should keep goin on participating in something I no longer feel is right. Drum and Bass was the thing that Proper was based on and recently it's been about everything else so I'm out. I'm still in the mix game, I'm just playin it solo. Well anyways, that's the basic Ignite story and what not. If there's a drum and bass event you'll probably run into me, so say hi or whatever ya want, shit buy me a beer I'll never say no to that.
