IGNITION Events are a great time, and much more than a competition, with judges from within the Christian music industry (Provident, Sony, Gotee, EMACK Music Publishing, and more...) & the Independent Artist Community offering feedback, insight, and education through artist workshops, coaching sessions, and Q&A sessions. We offer a FULL interactive conference track during the weekend with opportunities to hear from great people that can help you move in the right direction. Covering topics like Songwriting, Making It As An Indie Artist, Merchandising, Vocal Coaching, Market Relevance, Recording, and much more, these sessions are an incredible way to learn and grow as an independent artist/band.
The IGNITION event is designed around bringing people together for several puposes, one of the most important being networking. Many artists spend so many hours spinning their wheels trying to create paths that others have already forged. This event creates an environment where artists can meet, share ideas, and team up to better impact their world! In addition, these events also connect artists to local ministries, merchandising companies, recording studios, pioneers in the independent music world, consulting firms and individuals inside the national music industry. What an amazing opportunity to link up with those that can assist you and make your artistry and ministry expand!
The showcase evaluation portion does offer some amazing prizes to the top performers, including merchandise starter kits, photo shoots, web design, A&R sessions, 1,000 replicated CD's, and a Grand Prize: the top band/artist from each event will receive the opportunity to record a single with MakeShift Records, recorded and produced by leaders in the music industry and and arranged by Grammy nominated songwriter, Aaron Rice! These tracks will be placed on a compilation EP and distributed to multiple indie radio stations, national A&R representatives, as well as to several music organizations for independent review! Whether pursuing a national contract or broadening your independent career, this is an incredible tool to advance your music!

Marshall Pulliam was selected out of 1000's of Artists
Marshall Pulliam recently entered the Kalein songwriting contest in Nashville, TN. Out of the 1000's of artists who submitted their songs, Marshall was selected to be one of Only (6) songwriters selected for this retreat.
Now Marshall is heading down to Round Cove, which is located near Nashville, TN for Kalein Songwriting Retreat & Master Class June 9 & 10, 2008. The Kalein Songwriting Retreat & Master Class is an international songwriting workshop.
Master Teachers are Mark Lee of Third Day & Bryan White the Academy of Country Music's Top New Male Vocalist.
Songwriters and Recording Artists Mark Lee, Rebecca St. James, Matthew West and Shaun Groves are some of the members on their Executive Committee of Judges.
